I hope everyone had an excellent 4th of July weekend. On Friday, my husband, kids, and I went to my inlaws. They wanted me to take some family photos, so I did. I am not entirely happy with my work though. I could have done better but I learned it’s difficult to fend off mosquitos and try to take photos at the same time. My mother in law loved the photos though so that’s all that matters. Will says I’m overly critical of my work. I guess I am.
On Saturday, we grilled out at my parents house. My adorable niece, Cooper, was there. She just turned 4 months old and is simply adorable! We stayed there for a bit and chatted and then came back home to chill out before we went to the fireworks show at a local state park. That was definitely an experience. It was more crowded than I’d ever seen before. The parking was crazy. The fireworks were awesome though and the mosquitos weren’t attacking me either. So I was able to enjoy the show and take a few photos. I forgot my tripod though so I had a lot of camera shake in the pictures. Ah well, I still had a great time anyway. I love being from a country who loves to celebrate its birthday! How did you spend your 4th?
(I really need to get this printed)
