I’m 36 but I don’t have a lot of wrinkles. However, I do use a few products to prevent aging.  I think products I’ve used have worked fairly well. But I have noticed some fine lines around my eyes.  The eyes are usually the first place that starts to age because the skin is so delicate.  The only time I really see the fine lines is if I really look. I just want to keep them unnoticeable.

I was excited that I had the opportunity to try Exuviance® Intensive Eye Treatment Pads. They contains Lactobionic Acid and Pro-Vitamins A, C and E.  The Lactobionic acid is derived from milk sugar and is gentle on the skin. It helps to hydrate the skin and smooth out fine lines.  It also prevents and reverses aging. It’s gentle enough to use on any skin type.

The pads are easy to use.  Make sure to clean and dry the area first. Then open the pouch and remove pads. Then place one pad under each eye.  Leave the pads on for 10-30 minutes. Remove the pads and then rub in the excess solution. Exuviance recommends using their Exuviance Hydrating Eye Cream afterwards. It’s recommended to use them 2-3 times a week. I only used them twice a week and could see a difference.

I left the pads on for around 15 minutes and that seemed to be adeqate enough time for them to work. I didn’t use the hydrating cream but still saw results.  I noticed that the fine lines had dimished and were no where near as noticeable. The Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment pads also helped with the dark circles under my eyes that I sometimes get when I don’t get enough sleep at night.  They also even out the skin tone under my eyes.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to erase those small lines around their eyes and dimish the appearence of dark circles under their eyes.  The eye pads are not cheap at $48 for a set of 12 (24 pads) but I think they are well worth it because they work. And since it says to use them 2-3 times a week, they should last you approximately 6 weeks. So it’s really less expensive than other products.  It’s not nearly as costly as some products that are out there that don’t even work to begin with.  At least with Exuviance, you get results. If you would like to try it for yourself, you can find the them at http://www.exuviance.com.

Free Credit for Lyft App

Have you ever really needed to get somewhere but either you didn’t have a car or your car was in the shop?  I’m sure you wished you had some way to get a trusted driver to take you where you needed (or wanted to go). Well now you can with the new ride sharing lyft app .  Basically, you down load the request a ride at the push of a button, and track your ride until it arrives to pick you up. Pretty cool, huh?  Also, fees are generally cheaper than taxi fare. You pay by phone so you don’t have to worry about having cash on you.  You can rate the drivers and if they get rated 3 stars or below, you won’t have them as a driver again. But hey, your driver could be a pretty cool person and you may end up with a new friend. Right now, you can get a code at ridehookups.com for a free credit for lyft. So, if you live in the area where the service is offered, go ahead and give it a try!

*This post contains affiliate links. I was give the product at no cost in exchange for a review. However, all opinions are my own.

I am always looking for new colors for my hair. I’ve been coloring my hair for several years now. I used to color it because I wanted to do something different with my hair. Now I color it not only for that reason, but also because I’ve started getting gray hairs.  I had the opportunity to try out Madison Reed hair color.  I used their color advisor to see what color would work best for me.  I ended up getting Trieste Red.

Rebloom review

*This posts contains affiliate links. I was given this product to try out and write a review, however, all opinions are my own.

As I’ve gotten older, I find I have a more difficult time falling asleep. Well, not only falling asleep but actually staying asleep. There have been times where I’ve gotten up in the morning and felt like I hadn’t slept at all. I know a good nights rest is essential to one’s health so when I got the chance to review reBloom , I was so excited! I wasn’t really sure this was going to work. And I wondered if it did work, would it make me groggy the next day.

Before I get into discussing my experience with reBloom, let me tell you a little about this product. reBloom contains all natural ingredients. The list of ingredients include: L-Thanine, melatonin, valerian, chamomile, vitamins E and B-12. magnesium and lavendar. All of these ingredients are formulated to help you fall asleep and stay asleep without feeling sleepy the next day. There’s only 5 calories per bottle and there’s no artificial flavors or sweeteners. reBloom doesn’t even have any preservatives. It’s recommended that you drink a bottle about 30 min to an hour before you go to bed. If you think a whole bottle may be too much, you can just try 1/2 of the bottle.

I tried the first bottle about 30 minutes before I went to bed. It has an herbal taste, almost like unsweetened herbal tea. I drink a lot of sweet tea so it wasn’t that pleasant to me. It wasn’t awful though. It wasn’t one of those things that just hit me all of a sudden and I couldn’t make it to the bed. It was more of a gradual thing. As soon as I did go to bed though, I was off to sleepy land.  I woke up the next day after a full, uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep and I felt great! I wasn’t groggy at all and that was a surprise. Most over the counter sleep aids always make me feel like I still need another 8 hours of sleep. I almost forgot what it was like to sleep that long without waking up 2 or 3 times.   I didn’t have any kind of adverse reaction at Rebloom at all.  I had the same experience with the remaining 3 bottles.  I have to say, I was skeptical that an “all natural” sleeping aid would really work. However, I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to anyone who needs help sleeping.  I am already thinking about purchasing some bottles for those nights when I just can’t get to sleep(or stay asleep).
